About the team:

  • As a Technical Customer Specialist at the Bitso Markets Team you will work closely with the largest and most active customers. You will be the first point of contact of liquidity providers with regards to the technical questions, passing the incidents and feedback to the technical platform team. You will also assist the systematic traders with the technical onboarding. Working closely with the research and data science teams, you will monitor the API standards across the industry.

You are:

  • Coding experience in one of the most popular languages (Java, Python, JavaScript etc.).
  • Proficiency in crypto exchange APIs and at least working knowledge of the automatic trading.
  • Ability to gather all information needed to report and document a bug, incidents and improvement suggestions.
  • Ability to establish a good rapport with key account holders of very different attitudes, in very volatile market conditions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • English language proficiency. 

You’ll do:

  • Provide support to liquidity providers, covering technical & API issues.
  • Classify incidents affecting the key account holders and pass them to the technical team.
  • Assist the technical onboarding for algorithmic traders.
  • Manage the technical & API feedback received from the key accounts.
  • Liaise with the data science and market research functions to create stable and continuous queries.
  • Liaise with key internal stakeholders for  key accounts business requirements: Finance, Compliance, Legal and IT.
  • Assist on operational requirements: invoices, payments, audits, financial statements, onboarding, etc.
  • Help the Market Operations function manage alerts and internal systems functionality.
