LatAm Senior Product Designer

We have a fully distributed LatAm design and engineering team with a majority in Argentina. We have a very high bar for design and technical skills and are seeking a world-class designer.

As our first senior product designer (2nd designer on the team), you will report directly to our Director of Product based in San Francisco and execute on our design requirements to help build a best-in-class user experience.

This is a unique opportunity to join as one of the first 20 employees addressing the $311 billion car insurance market.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the product design, designing prototypes that enable an intuitive and modern user experience
• Bring the initial mockups to life through beautiful UI and high-fidelity, interactive mockups ready for engineers or for early partners
• Confront complex UX problems with elegant and delightful user flows that address both consumer and B2B challenges
• Influence design and business decisions at the company by bringing a systematic and visual eye to the core product experience
• Bring comfort and expertise in technical environments, with deep knowledge of both web and mobile client-side development processes

Qualifications

• 6+ years of design experience within product design
• Expert at Figma and producing interactive designs
• Expert with mobile-responsive websites
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and comfortable wearing many hats
• UI and visual designer experience strongly preferred
• Front-end experience (CSS, HTML) preferred
• Bonus for experience in a seed-stage, high-growth startup
• Bonus for experience in automotive, insurance or fintech
